Listen
Take time to listen to the person in front of me and follow the Holy Spirit’s lead.
Praying for people. Serving where God leads.
I’m not promising 1,000 miracles. I’m promising 1,000 prayers. I’m starting right where I am, following the Holy Spirit and sharing the journey as it happens.
“Freely you have received; freely give.”
Matthew 10:8What matters to me
Take time to listen to the person in front of me and follow the Holy Spirit’s lead.
Care for people. Offer prayer whether they want to be on camera or not.
Share what happened and follow up when I can. Be honest when we are still waiting for an answer.

This is where I’ll share people’s accounts of answered prayer, healing, deliverance, salvation and encouragement. We’ll ask permission before sharing a story and follow up when we can. When someone is still waiting for an answer, we’ll be honest about that too.
Have an answer to prayer you’d like to share? Tell me about it below.
How we’ll share the stories
What the person asked us to pray for.
How we prayed and what happened in the moment.
What changed, what didn’t and what the person shared with us.
How things are going when we check back in.
Why I’m doing this
I’m Grant, a husband, dad of three, horse trainer and small-business owner. My family also runs Ranch Dawgs, our food trailer.
For years, much of my income has depended on how many horses I can physically ride and train each month. I’m grateful for that work. But I’ve felt God calling me to spend more of my life sharing the Gospel, praying for people, serving others and going wherever He opens a door.
That brings a real question: how do I make more room for that calling while faithfully providing for my family? I want to say yes to ministry and mission opportunities while making sure my family’s needs are met.
I keep coming back to what Jesus told His disciples: preach the Kingdom, heal the sick and cast out demons. He also commanded His followers to share the Gospel and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 10:7–8; Mark 16:15; Matthew 28:19–20). I want to put His words into practice and let the Holy Spirit lead.
While praying, I felt God showing me I could begin right where I already was. Through Ranch Dawgs, I could give someone a meal, listen to what they were going through and ask, “How can I pray for you?” That became Free Dawg Days.
Sometimes the person in front of me needs healing. Sometimes they’re carrying grief, having a hard week or simply need someone to listen. I want to notice them and have the courage to stop.
That’s the heart of the 1000 Prayer Project. Pray for people, share Jesus Christ of Nazareth and document the journey honestly.
Before an encounter, my prayer is simple: “Holy Spirit, lead me. Help me notice the person in front of me. Give me courage to love them well. Jesus, I leave the outcome with You.”

Ranch Dawgs outreach
On random days, we open Ranch Dawgs and give away meals to serve our community. We call these Free Dawg Days. Prayer is available for anyone who wants it, and no one has to give money or be filmed.
Our promise to you
Holy Spirit-led. Faith-filled prayer. People over content.
You can receive prayer without being filmed.
We will ask your permission before sharing your story.
We will tell the truth about what happened, including when nothing changed.
Prayer is always free.

Where This Is Going
Right now, I’m starting with what God has put in front of me: praying for people, serving our community and keeping an honest record of the journey. I want to let this grow at the pace He provides.
My long-term hope is for the project to help support the work itself and free up more of my time for ministry. That would allow me to say yes to outreach and mission trips while continuing to provide for my family, without relying entirely on how many horses I can ride each month.
Support can help cover free meals, practical needs, mission travel and the work of recording and sharing these encounters. It can also make room for follow-up visits, so we can hear what happens in people’s lives beyond the day we pray together.
Over time, I’d love to gather those stories into a book, a documentary or podcast conversations. There may be opportunities to visit churches, serve alongside other ministries and share testimonies in other languages. Those are hopes I’m holding before God as we take the next step.
My hope is that someone watching will think, “I can pray for the person in front of me too.”
You can be part of this by praying with us, sharing the journey, introducing us to someone who wants prayer or helping support the work financially.
Prayer will always be freely given. Whatever this becomes, I want it to point people to Jesus and encourage them to follow where He leads.
